Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced in Karnal on Wednesday that the state would soon recruit 50,000 candidates for various posts lying vacant in government departments.

CM Manohar Lal Khattar has claimed after these recruitments, Haryana would become famous for transparency in selections.

CM Manohar Lal Khattar here to lay foundation stones of a number of projects, reached Karnal in a Volvo bus and first went to Karnal Lake on outskirts of the city. He said that Haryana needed to further promote use of information technology so that more people could use it to make E-governance projects a success.

He said that last year, Haryana was at number 21 in the field of IT, it had risen to the fifth position.

The system of governance in Haryana had seen a change over the past nine months and more steps were being taken to make government machinery more responsive to needs of people.

"Digital India" campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to promote use of digital media amongst common man. He said that Haryana government was already working to digitize its records. He said that the government had introduced E-direction, E-registration, CM window, C-form and other digital services throughout Haryana. "This will curb corruption and serve people in a time-bound manner in Haryana.
